Business Development Manager (KOL)

About the role

MEXC is looking for a Business Development Manager focused on Key Opinion Leaders (KOL), influencers and affiliate partnerships. You will own the end‑to‑end partnership strategy in your assigned markets, driving user acquisition and revenue growth for the exchange.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full business development cycle for KOL, influencer and affiliate collaborations.
• Build and maintain a high‑quality network of local KOLs, influencers, affiliates and strategic marketing partners.
• Act as the regional owner of partnership growth, representing MEXC and scaling partner ecosystems.
• Design data‑driven partnership strategies, covering acquisition, activation, performance tracking and optimisation.
• Own channel KPIs, analysing ROI, CAC, conversion rates and partner quality to improve efficiency.
• Identify new business opportunities, emerging distribution channels and strategic collaborations.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor moves and regulatory changes, turning insights into actionable initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with marketing, product and operations teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
• Continuously improve partnership models, incentive structures and regional growth playbooks.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, affiliate marketing or KOL management, preferably in crypto, fintech or digital trading.
• Strong understanding of the cryptocurrency ecosystem, including exchanges, trading products and community‑driven growth models.
• Proven track record of building and managing KOL/influencer or affiliate partnerships with measurable business impact.
• Deep knowledge of local market ecosystems, KOL landscapes and online communities.
