Business Development Executive

About the role

Our client, a leading executive search and leadership advisory firm, is looking for a proactive Business Development Executive to work fully remotely. You will partner with senior Partners to generate qualified discovery meetings with C‑suite executives across the UK and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct outbound business development to organisations without existing relationships.
• Generate and book qualified discovery meetings with senior decision‑makers.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospective clients.
• Represent the firm’s executive search and leadership advisory services professionally.
• Engage senior executives across manufacturing, industrial, consumer, aerospace and defence using phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Research target organisations, map key decision‑makers and keep accurate prospect records.
• Collaborate closely with senior Partners and manage your own workload to meet activity and meeting‑booking targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience in outbound business development or B2B sales.
• Proven ability to engage confidently with C‑suite and Director‑level executives.
• Strong telephone communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Commercially minded with excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Experience using multi‑channel outreach (email, LinkedIn, phone).
• Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment.
• Based in South Africa and available to work UK and European business hours.
