Business Developer – Training Solutions

About the role

The Training Solutions division at Enterprises University of Pretoria is seeking a Business Developer to drive growth through tenders, proposals and client partnerships. You will combine sales expertise with strong administrative skills to support the division’s revenue objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue business opportunities via tenders, EOIs, PRQs and RFPs.
• Build and maintain lasting client relationships across public, private and international sectors.
• Manage office administration to ensure smooth and professional operations.
• Convert opportunities into measurable sales results and contribute to consistent revenue growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Commerce or equivalent three‑year qualification.
• Minimum three years experience in business development, sales, marketing or consulting.
• At least three years experience in a training environment and in handling tenders, quotations and proposals.
• Strong financial understanding and high emotional intelligence.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy – Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
