Sales Executive (VR 133)

About the role

This position is focused on selling diesel generators to customers across South Africa and the sub‑Saharan region. The successful candidate will present the product range, build and maintain strong client relationships, and achieve monthly sales targets while supporting the growth of a specialised generator business.

Key responsibilities

• Present and sell diesel generators to prospective and existing customers using compelling arguments.
• Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
• Conduct cost‑benefit and needs analyses for new and existing clients.
• Develop strategies to improve sales effectiveness and product positioning.
• Prioritise and escalate client queries to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Provide management with reports on customer needs, market activity and potential new products.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets.
• Continuously improve performance based on customer and company feedback.

Required profile

• Matric with pure Mathematics (60%–69% or higher).
• Hard‑working with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to take initiative and work well under pressure.
• Strong numeracy and trustworthy character.
• Good time‑management and people skills.
