Bus Driver - Passenger

About the role
Unitrans is looking for a professional Bus Driver to transport passengers on scheduled routes. The role involves safely operating a passenger bus, ensuring comfort and timely arrival at destinations.
Key responsibilities
- Drive the bus on established routes according to the timetable.
- Control lighting, heating and ventilation to maintain passenger comfort.
- Observe prescribed speeds, traffic signals and road conditions to guarantee safety.
- Ensure passengers board and alight safely and reach their destinations on time.
- Maintain the vehicle in good working order and report any issues.
Required profile
- Valid Public Services Driving License (PG) and appropriate professional driver permit (PrDP).
- Proven experience as a professional bus driver.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving techniques.
- Commitment to company code of conduct, policies and procedures.
