Logistics Clerk – Polymers Rail

About the role

The Logistics Clerk for Polymers Rail supports the implementation of facility management strategies and ensures smooth execution of the logistics value chain. You will work closely with Logistics Controllers to maintain optimal inventory levels, streamline processes, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Expedite transport documents, authorize purchase order receipt, identify discrepancies and resolve disputes.
• Close the loop on transportation documentation and perform SAP housekeeping tasks.
• Generate and validate reports in the Renaissance Logistics Execution System.
• Manage additional logistics charges, including transporter standing time claims and transport invoice reconciliations.
• Support inventory controls, safety stock, and re‑order level policies.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring safety initiatives and perform site inspections.
• Monitor trucks on site, resolve on‑site issues, and handle general inquiries.
• Organise meetings, take minutes, and provide general office administration.
• Maintain and update records, reports, and files, and prepare management data from internal and external sources.

Required profile

• Ability to support Logistics Controllers in inventory management and sales‑operation planning.
• Strong attention to detail for document control and discrepancy resolution.
• Commitment to high safety standards and ability to perform inspections.
• Effective communication skills for handling inquiries and coordinating with internal teams.
• Organisational capability to manage paperwork, meeting minutes, and records.
