Bridge Concrete Foreman

About the role

Our client, a leading construction firm operating in the Eastern Cape, is looking for an experienced Bridge Concrete Foreman to lead bridge concrete works on upcoming projects. You will organise site activities, supervise labour teams and ensure that all work complies with safety, quality and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise and supervise bridge concrete construction activities on site.
• Coordinate labour teams involved in reinforcement, formwork and concrete placement.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and ensure accurate execution.
• Monitor progress, quality and safety performance daily.
• Liaise with engineers, surveyors, subcontractors and project management.
• Assist in daily planning and resolve on‑site issues promptly.
• Ensure strict compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related construction field.
• Proven experience supervising bridge, road or civil infrastructure projects.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication and coordination abilities.
• Physically fit and able to work on construction sites.
• Legal right to work in South Africa.
