Brand Manager – Marketing

About the role

We are looking for a Brand Manager to lead the development and growth of our cosmetics brand in South Africa. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will shape brand strategy, drive market share and protect brand equity across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and communicate the marketing vision and ensure timely execution of brand strategy.
• Maintain brand equity and integrity while adapting global strategies to the South African market.
• Set and achieve annual wholesale budgets, monitor sales performance and adjust plans as needed.
• Define global sell‑out targets, work with sales teams and manage retailer expectations.
• Conduct regular business reviews, monitor retail pricing, forex trends and devise pricing strategies.
• Oversee distribution and inventory to meet international guidelines and ensure ROI.
• Prepare brand reporting and manage A&P spend to achieve ROI and profitability.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and coordinate PR activities.

Required profile

• Business or Marketing degree.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the cosmetics industry.
• Proven ability to develop brand strategy, manage budgets and drive growth.
• Strong analytical, commercial and entrepreneurial mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
