Branch Manager – Logistics

About the role

Lead a high‑performing logistics operation at our Polokwane branch. You will be responsible for day‑to‑day operational, financial and people management, ensuring exceptional service delivery and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily branch activities and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage branch profitability, budgets and cost‑control measures.
• Drive operational efficiencies, continuous improvement and fleet utilisation.
• Monitor KPIs, implement corrective actions and ensure compliance with health, safety and quality standards.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing team, handling labour planning, recruitment and employee development.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare operational reports and analyse branch performance.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) minimum; logistics or supply‑chain qualification advantageous.
• 3‑5 years’ experience in branch or senior operations management within transport, courier, logistics or supply‑chain.
• Proven leadership, people‑management and commercial acumen.
• Experience managing budgets, profitability and operational KPIs.
• Good understanding of labour legislation and compliance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
