Branch Manager

About the role

The Branch Manager will lead the Port Elizabeth branch of Duroplastic, overseeing sales, operations and financial performance while reporting to the Commercial Director.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all branch functions including sales, forecasts, stock control, client service, administration and financial management.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to grow sales, expand the customer base and increase market share across the region.
• Identify new business opportunities and target specific industries or geographic areas for growth.
• Oversee stock replenishment, pricing tactics, margin management and ensure accurate stock takes and cycle counts.
• Lead, recruit, train, coach and evaluate a high‑performing team, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
• Prepare, manage and report on the branch budget, monitoring financial performance against targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in construction and building.
• At least 10 years of management experience, preferably in a B2B/B2C sales environment.
• Proven track record in sales management and business development.
• Strong communication skills across all organisational levels.
