Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor (Bushbuckridge)

About the role

As a Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor you will work from the Bushbuckridge branch of Sanlam Developing Markets, delivering tailored financial advice and high‑level client service. You will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, help clients meet their financial goals and contribute to growing the branch’s market share.

Key responsibilities

• Promote SRM product range and cross‑sell value‑added solutions.
• Provide sound financial advice based on each client’s needs, goals and means.
• Validate client details, submit new business and conduct due‑diligence to flag risks.
• Manage daily appointments, prioritize walk‑ins and ensure timely follow‑up.
• Service client portfolios, send payment reminders and monitor persistency.
• Handle policy cancellations, propose alternatives and resolve client queries.
• Track and act on NTU (Not Taken Up) cases, applying corrective controls.
• Maintain compliance with product and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Strong sales orientation with a focus on client optimisation.
• Good understanding of SRM product ranges and ability to match them to client needs.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple client interactions.
• Awareness of compliance and risk‑management processes.
