Bookkeeper / Payroll Administrator – Construction & Development

About the role

This position combines bookkeeping, payroll administration and project cost accounting within a construction and development environment. The successful candidate will support day‑to‑day financial operations, ensuring accurate recording, reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day accounts management (operational finance)
• Accounts payable, payments and procurement support
• Accounts receivable and client invoicing in a project environment
• Bank, control accounts and reconciliations
• General ledger maintenance, month‑end close and financial reporting
• Payroll processing and statutory compliance
• Cash‑flow management on a weekly cadence
• Finance filing and SharePoint document control (mandatory)

Required profile

• Experience in bookkeeping, payroll administration and project cost accounting, preferably within the construction and development sector
• Ability to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and client invoicing in a project‑based setting
• Proficiency in cash‑flow management, month‑end close and financial reporting
