About the role

SAP Fioneer, a spin-out of SAP focused on financial services, is hiring a Banking Consultant (Solution Architect) for its S4 transition projects. Working in Transactional Banking, you will help clients modernize and optimize their core banking platforms, design scalable architectures and act as a trusted advisor on banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

Work with prospects, customers and sales teams to understand business requirements and transformation challenges in core banking
Translate complex banking processes into scalable solution designs and architectures based on SAP Fioneer products
Lead the design of target architectures and scalable solutions for complex business problems
Conduct fit-gap analyses, identify innovation potential and align solutions with customers' strategic goals and regulatory guardrails
Advise customers on using SAP Fioneer solutions to achieve modernization, cost efficiency and competitiveness
Drive transformation projects and innovation initiatives as architectural lead for core banking
Collaborate with product and engineering teams on roadmaps and coach team members

Required profile

Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Business, Finance, Economics, Physics or Mathematics; MBA or PhD is a plus
4 to 7+ years of experience in consulting, banking or software, ideally in solution or enterprise architecture, technology transformation or core banking implementation with SAP Banking components
Proven track record delivering complex transformation or modernization programs in commercial and/or retail banking
Expertise in transformational banking domains such as deposits, lending, account management, product engines and regulatory processes
Excellent communication skills in English
