B2B Distribution Junior Sales Representative

About the role

YS Distributors, a leading importer and distributor in Durban, is looking for an energetic Junior Sales Representative to drive B2B sales across South Africa. You will focus on corporate and wholesale accounts, prospecting new business and expanding our distribution network.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and cold‑call commercial and corporate buyers to generate new accounts.
• Manage existing corporate portfolios, prepare price‑list quotations and negotiate bulk terms.
• Conduct client visits, present product catalogs and maintain strong relationships.
• Update the customer database with accurate account information.
• Process orders promptly and coordinate delivery requirements.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of proven B2B, wholesale or distribution sales experience.
• Track record of corporate prospecting, cold calling and managing trade accounts.
• Minimum Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate.
• Valid driver’s licence and clear criminal record.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and OneNote.
