About the role
PwC's NER Audit General division is looking for a Senior Associate 1 (Audit Consultant) in Emlahleni with a strong auditing background. The role sits within the audit and assurance practice, which provides independent assessments of financial statements, internal controls and other assurable information, and issues an auditor's report. The firm expects the candidate to build client relationships, anticipate the needs of teams and clients and deliver quality.
Key responsibilities
- Manage special projects and engagements
- Risk management and cost monitoring
- Staff management and development
- Business development and client relationship building
- Manage work in progress and debtors
- Ensure compliance with PwC audit methodology
- Report writing
Required profile
- 3 years of completed SAICA articles and working experience
- BCompt degree, studying towards CTA
- Experience on large clients in the Consumer & Industrial Products and Services industry, including services to privately owned companies
Required skills
- IFRS and IFRS for SMEs knowledge (desirable)
- Computer literacy with PwC software and digital tools
- Communication, leadership, time management and multitasking skills
