Creditors Clerk

About the role

PwC is hiring a Creditors Clerk (management level associate) in its Johannesburg office. The role covers obtaining supplier statements and outstanding invoices, reconciling them, and following up on and resolving reconciling items so that suppliers can be paid on time.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain monthly statements from suppliers and outstanding invoices for reconciliation.
• Follow up on and resolve reconciling items on the supplier reconciliation.
• Liaise with business units to ensure timely payment of suppliers.
• Print Oracle AP reports to perform supplier reconciliations in Excel.
• Make sure all invoices due for payment are approved in Oracle and follow up where required.
• Complete supplier account reconciliations in Excel so payment can be made at the due date.
• Maintain admin records of supplier reconciliations for audit purposes.
• Assist with loading manual EFT payments on the banking app.
• Assist with other ad-hoc finance projects when needed.

Required profile

• Accounting diploma or relevant qualification and experience.
• Experience in creditors reconciliations.
• Ability to work across the entire Johannesburg office.

Required skills

• Good communication skills and professionalism.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.
• Time management, attention to detail and accuracy, problem solving, relationship building.
