Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer & Rotational Head of Department – Entrepreneurship

About the role

The university seeks an experienced academic to serve as an Associate Professor or Senior Lecturer and to rotate as Head of Department for a five‑year term. The role combines teaching, research supervision and departmental leadership in Entrepreneurship and Business Management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and project management for the department.
• Oversee research activities, including supervision of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral projects.
• Manage HR, staff, financial and student affairs in line with university policies.
• Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate lectures and develop course materials.
• Lead departmental initiatives and ensure compliance with institutional guidelines.

Required profile

• Doctoral degree in Entrepreneurship, Enterprise Development, Business Administration or Business Management with a focus on entrepreneurship.
• Relevant Master’s qualification in a sub‑field of entrepreneurship.
• Minimum 4–6 years of higher‑education teaching experience, including senior‑lecturer level responsibilities.
• Demonstrated academic leadership and successful supervision of master’s and doctoral students.
• Track record of publications in DHET‑accredited journals.
