Learning & Development Trainer – Collections

About the role

The Learning & Development Trainer will design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes for the Secure Trust Bank UK Collections operation based in Cape Town. The role ensures new hires and existing staff acquire the knowledge, skills, behaviours and compliance awareness needed to meet performance, quality and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deliver and facilitate engaging learning programmes covering induction, product, system and refresher training.
• Develop and maintain facilitator guides, learner workbooks, assessments and blended learning content.
• Ensure mandatory compliance and regulatory training is completed and recorded in line with FCA regulations and Consumer Duty principles.
• Collaborate with Operations, Quality Assurance, Workforce Management and client stakeholders to identify learning needs and support business change initiatives.
• Track training metrics, report on completion rates and evaluate effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a Training, Learning & Development or Facilitation environment.
• Proven ability to create and deliver training in a regulated collections setting.
• Strong communication skills and the capacity to adapt delivery style to diverse learning preferences.
