Apparel Store Manager – Ballito

About the role

The Apparel Store Manager will lead the launch and growth of a new apparel brand in Ballito. You will be responsible for delivering an outstanding customer experience, driving sales, and ensuring operational excellence across both back‑of‑house and front‑of‑house activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day store operations, including sales, after‑sales, stock, merchandising, security and administration.
• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Team Leaders, Sales Consultants and Associates through regular meetings, coaching and performance reviews.
• Maintain store appearance, planogram integrity, signage and seasonal visual standards.
• Oversee loss‑prevention measures, including RFID tag controls and shrinkage mitigation throughout the stock cycle.
• Control inventory levels, financial expenses and ensure accurate stock ledger reporting.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports and present insights to senior management.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a retail or service‑oriented environment, managing a small team.
• Strong background in apparel, clothing or fashion retail.
• Familiarity with retail systems, technologies and innovative solutions.
• Understanding of retail policies, operational controls, health & safety and loss‑prevention procedures.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends and public holidays as required.
