Alignment Engineer – Remote IT Infrastructure Specialist

About the role

The Alignment Engineer will help organisations improve their IT environments through remote assessments, technical reviews, and infrastructure optimisation. Working in a remote‑first setting, you will collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify risks, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure technology standards are consistently applied.

Key responsibilities

• Perform remote standards and alignment reviews to assess client environments and identify improvement opportunities.
• Maintain, update, and retire client standards templates as technologies evolve.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of assigned client systems and infrastructure.
• Review and keep client documentation accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Identify technical risks and recommend appropriate solutions in partnership with internal teams.
• Provide technical recommendations and promote best practices across client environments.
• Proactively monitor and improve client infrastructure through remote management activities.
• Maintain strong client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in IT administration, technical support, or a similar technology‑focused role.
• Strong analytical ability to assess, document, and improve technology systems.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
