Aftermarket Controller

About the role

The Aftermarket Controller supports the Product Support team by ensuring that service activities are planned, scheduled and executed in line with company standards. This position acts as the main liaison between technicians, internal departments and customers to guarantee timely and customer‑focused service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule, plan and communicate technicians’ service activities, including breakdowns, engineering tasks and spray‑booth jobs.
• Assign technicians to jobs, book all tasks on the mobile tech system and follow up daily on work‑in‑progress.
• Handle customer calls, complaints and queries, ensuring clear communication and resolution.
• Coordinate machine transfers to the workshop, oversee technician assignments and monitor delivery completion.
• Collaborate with internal customers, New and Used Sales, and Rental departments.
• Compile a monthly sustainability report.
• Invoice completed jobs within three working days and ensure accurate job card closure.
• Prepare quotations, submit them to customers and track order numbers.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) with at least three years of relevant experience.
• Experience working closely with technicians in the automotive, material‑handling or logistics sectors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to maintain database information.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word.
