Aftercare Assistant

About the role
The Aftercare Assistant is responsible for providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children after school hours. You will oversee daily routines, support developmental activities and ensure accurate attendance records.
Key responsibilities
- Full responsibility for caring for children during after‑school hours.
- Supervise lunch routines and ensure proper hygiene.
- Implement a varied programme that meets children’s developmental needs.
- Monitor and supervise children while they play.
- Maintain an accurate attendance register.
Required profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues, students and parents.
- Energetic, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
- Team‑player attitude.
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport.
Required skills
- Computer literacy.
