Advance Analytics Specialist

About the role

The Advance Analytics Specialist designs, builds, deploys and maintains advanced analytical solutions, applications and visualisations that turn large and complex datasets into practical business intelligence. Working alongside the local Data Scientist, the role supports faster, scalable and more intuitive commercial decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Develop predictive analytics, machine learning use cases and statistical solutions for local commercial priorities.
• Build analytical applications, automation tools and interactive HTML visualisations, translating commercial problems into technical requirements, prototypes and production-ready solutions.
• Explore large datasets to identify patterns, drivers and opportunities that can become business actions.
• Own the full solution lifecycle: build, deployment, monitoring, maintenance and enhancement.
• Write reusable, well-documented and quality-controlled code following development standards.
• Collaborate with the local Data Scientist, commercial stakeholders and Data Technology teams.
• Support user adoption, troubleshoot production issues and improve solutions using user feedback and performance evidence.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years' relevant experience in advanced analytics, data science, software or application development.
• Commercial or route-to-market experience in FMCG or a similarly data-rich environment.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language and usable commercial solutions.

Required skills

• Experience with Power Apps, Streamlit, web application frameworks or comparable app development tools.
• Experience deploying and maintaining analytical products in a production environment.
• Knowledge of GenAI applications, APIs, automation and cloud-based analytical services.
• Strong coding in Python and SQL, with working knowledge of PySpark and Databricks.
• Experience building analytical applications and interactive HTML-based visualisations.
• Sound understanding of machine learning, statistics, testing, version control and software development practices.
