Administrative Clerk – Accounts Payable

About the role
Premier is looking for an Administrative Clerk to support its creditor function and provide general office administration. The role sits within a high‑performance environment where accuracy and teamwork are essential. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure smooth processing of accounts payable.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in the creditor’s function, including invoice processing and payment scheduling.
- Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile supplier statements.
- Provide day‑to‑day office administrative support such as filing, data entry, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve payment queries and ensure timely settlements.
- Support the finance department with reporting and numerical analysis as needed.
Required profile
- Matric qualification; Accounting or bookkeeping certificate is an advantage.
- 2‑3 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in FMCG or a financial environment.
- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and conflict‑handling skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and work under pressure with a sense of urgency.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Basic knowledge of financial systems.
