About the role

The Administration Clerk (Support) provides essential administrative support within the Health Management Team of the Western Cape Department of Health and Wellness. The role involves record keeping, data management and supporting supervisors and stakeholders in line with departmental standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform administrative duties as a member of the Health Management Team.
Record keeping, filing, retrieving and destruction of folders.
Maintain Registry Plus functions and register patients on the Patient Administration System (PHCIS).
Manage data quality, capture data, interpret and analyse trends.
Present data at monthly facility meetings.
Provide support to the supervisor and other stakeholders in line with the Departmental Leadership Behavior Charter.

Required profile

Appropriate experience with Health Information Systems (PHCIS, Sinjani, Tier.Net/ETR, Ideal clinic capturing).
Senior Certificate (or equivalent) as minimum educational qualification.
