About the role
Join a respected auction house that handles high‑value items across South Africa and internationally. As an Admin & Stock Intake Assistant you will blend administrative precision with hands‑on stock management in a fast‑moving environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with intake, processing, and cataloguing of new auction stock.
- Handle valuable and delicate items with care and professionalism.
- Prepare and package unsold items for storage, collection, or return.
- Support collection and dispatch of sold items.
- Pack, move, and organise stock within the warehouse and auction facility.
- Perform manual administrative tasks, filing, and record‑keeping.
- Maintain accurate stock records.
- Travel to Pretoria and the Winelands when required.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to the team.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years experience in administration, stock control, logistics or a similar role.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physically fit and able to assist with packing and moving stock.
- Professional, trustworthy and dependable.
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous) and willingness to travel.
