Admin Analyst – Diesel & Fleet Management

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical Admin Analyst to oversee diesel expenditure, fuel analysis, and fleet maintenance within our transport operation. The role ensures accurate reporting, compliance, and cost control to improve overall fleet performance.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and monitor monthly diesel consumption, costs and trends across the fleet.
• Reconcile diesel statements, investigate variances and produce management reports.
• Update ERP diesel pricing and maintain precise fuel records.
• Manage maintenance schedules for trucks and trailers, including servicing, wheel alignments, brake tests and roadworthiness inspections.
• Coordinate with workshop staff to ensure timely repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Monitor vehicle pre‑check compliance and follow up on reported defects.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly fleet, maintenance and fuel management reports.
• Maintain complete maintenance records and support continuous improvement of fleet reliability and operating costs.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) minimum.
• A Diploma or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Fleet Management or a related field is advantageous.
• At least 1 year of administration experience; fleet administration experience preferred.
• Experience in diesel management or fuel analysis is a plus.
• Background in transport or logistics companies is beneficial.
