About the role
Thuso Milling, a successful mill and feedmill in Bothaville, is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Accountant. The role involves processing daily financial transactions, preparing monthly management reports, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for the business.
Key responsibilities
- Process daily transactions and maintain accurate ledger entries.
- Prepare and present monthly management reports.
- Handle VAT and PAYE returns and perform related reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with reporting deadlines and company policies.
- Support administrative accounting tasks as required.
Required profile
- Financial qualification with accounting background.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Required skills
- Proficiency in SAP.
- Experience with SAGE VIP PREMIER.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Competence in Microsoft Word.
- Hands‑on experience with VAT and PAYE returns and reconciliations.
