2nd Line IT Service Desk Analyst (Onsite, Wolsely, Western Cape)

About the role

Our client, an international manufacturing company with a presence in Wolsely, Western Cape, is seeking an experienced 2nd Line IT Service Desk Analyst to join their onsite support team. The role focuses on delivering technical assistance, monitoring, and automation for a range of Microsoft 365 and Azure services.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain servers, PCs, endpoints, network and cloud environments.
• Perform Windows patching, application deployment and scripting tasks.
• Manage backup and recovery processes for Office 365 data, including SharePoint, OneDrive, mail, contacts and calendars.
• Provide second‑line troubleshooting for Microsoft 365, Teams, Azure and related services.
• Document incidents, resolutions and contribute to knowledge‑base articles.

Required profile

• Relevant IT degree or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience in 2nd line technical support within a corporate environment.
• Hands‑on experience with Office 365 administration and Azure cloud services.
• Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
