Youth Employment Opportunity – Retail (12‑Month Fixed‑Term)

About the role

This is a Youth Employment Scheme (YES) opportunity for young South Africans to gain their first working experience in an exciting retail environment. The role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract based at Century City Boulevard.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers on the shop floor and provide friendly service.
• Maintain store presentation, including stock replenishment and visual merchandising.
• Support the sales team in achieving daily targets.

Required profile

• Age between 18 and 28 years.
• Matric qualification (preferable).
• Available for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
• No continuous permanent employment with a single employer for more than one year.
• Not enrolled as a full‑time student during the employment period (April 26 – March 27).
• Never previously participated in the YES programme.
• Accommodation and transportation are the applicant’s own responsibility.
• Preference will be given to candidates from designated groups under the Employment Equity Act.
