Working Student – Healthcare Data Engineering

About the role

As a Working Student in Healthcare Data Engineering you will join Snke’s interdisciplinary team to help build and maintain the data backbone of a cutting‑edge health‑tech ecosystem. You will work on privacy‑focused, interoperable data solutions that enable research and clinical decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and implementation of FHIR‑based data pipelines and APIs.
• Develop scripts and tools for data transformation, cleaning, and validation.
• Assist in integrating and standardising healthcare data formats such as DICOM, HL7, SNOMED CT and LOINC.
• Contribute to data models, dashboards and prototypes for clinical and research use cases.
• Document data processes and participate in quality‑assurance activities.
• Collaborate with software engineers, medical informatics experts and project managers.

Required profile

• Enrolled student in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics or a related field.
• Strong interest in healthcare data, interoperability and digital health applications.
• Independent, reliable work style with attention to detail.
• Good communication skills in English.
