Web & SEO Specialist – Build & Optimize High‑Performance Site

About the role

We are looking for a creative, results‑driven Web & SEO Specialist to own the end‑to‑end development and optimisation of a personal injury law firm’s website. You will turn approved design mockups into a fast, fully responsive site and continuously improve its search visibility to generate new client cases.

Key responsibilities

• Convert design mockups into a high‑performance, responsive website on Webflow or WordPress and manage the site after launch.
• Build and maintain practice‑area, location and blog pages within the CMS, ensuring UX, page speed, accessibility and security.
• Control site architecture, internal linking, crawlability, indexation, XML sitemaps, redirects and Core Web Vitals.
• Implement structured data and legal schema (LegalService, FAQ, Review, Breadcrumb).
• Conduct high‑intent keyword research focused on injury types and NYC locations, and optimise on‑page content in line with E‑E‑A‑T and YMYL standards.
• Manage Google Business Profile, local citations and location pages to win local map‑pack visibility.
• Support link‑building and digital‑PR initiatives to increase domain authority.
• Run CRO experiments on intake forms, click‑to‑call and live chat to convert organic traffic into signed cases.
• Own GA4, Google Search Console, lead/call tracking and rank tracking to shape the growth roadmap.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience at the intersection of web design/build and SEO, preferably in an agency or in‑house setting.
• Proven track record of delivering fast, conversion‑focused websites on Webflow or WordPress.
• Strong knowledge of technical, on‑page and local SEO with measurable results.
• Highly organised, able to manage full website launches independently under tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
