Warehouse Operations Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to lead our Durban warehouse team. The successful candidate will drive productivity, maintain stock integrity, and ensure smooth daily operations while adhering to health and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the warehouse team to meet operational targets.
• Oversee receiving, storage, stock control, and dispatch activities.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and FIFO practices.
• Coordinate staff schedules, workloads and transport requirements.
• Ensure compliance with OHS standards and company procedures.
• Identify and implement efficiency improvements.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Warehouse or Supply Chain Management.
• 5+ years of warehouse experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory or coordinating role.
• Valid South African driver’s licence and own transport.
• Willingness to relocate back to Durban.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP/WMS systems.
