About the role
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead the full warehouse function for an importer and distributor of technical hardware in Cape Town. The role oversees receiving, dispatch, stock control and people management to ensure fast and efficient deliveries to branches and customers.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and control receipt and dispatch processes.
- Manage a team of approximately six staff members.
- Continuously review warehouse layout to optimise space utilisation.
- Improve systems and processes to support a fast‑growing organisation.
- Monitor stock levels, shrinkage and cost productivity.
- Maintain and control the delivery fleet.
Required profile
- Minimum five years of senior warehouse management experience with a proven track record.
- Strong leadership and team‑player attitude.
- High level of computer literacy.
- Ability to manage staff and meet productivity targets.
Required skills
- Experience with Pastel accounting software (advantageous).
