Treatment Room Nurse – Community Treatment & Care (CTAC)

About the role

The Treatment Room Nurse will work within the Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) service, based in a GP surgery in the West area of Fife. You will deliver a range of clinical treatments and support primary‑care teams, ensuring safe, person‑centred care for the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide wound management, venepuncture, compression bandaging, doppler assessments and injections in a treatment‑room setting.
• Deliver care in GP clinics, adhering to clinical and quality standards.
• Support multi‑professional teams and cover additional treatment rooms across Fife as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and contribute to continuous improvement of services.

Required profile

• Registered Adult/General Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Experience in treatment‑room or community nursing within a primary‑care environment.
• Excellent communication, time‑management and adaptability.
• Willingness to obtain PVG Scheme membership prior to appointment.
