Training Officer: Core Systems - Pharmacy Stock / System Controllers

About the role

Mediclinic Southern Africa is recruiting a Training Officer for its Core Systems Replacement project, based in Stellenbosch on a hybrid, fixed-term contract. The role provides implementation support on systems and processes, ensures effective knowledge transfer and user competence, develops and assesses learning materials and facilitates learning interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse learning and development needs
• Design and implement learning support material
• Facilitate and assess learning processes
• Provide system and process support

Required profile

• Essential: Grade 12
• Desired: certificate in instructional design, training or pharmacy logistics, pharmacy support (Pharmacist's Assistant or Pharmacy Technician) or healthcare supply chain
• Essential: 3-5 years' experience in a business processes environment within a hospital or healthcare setting, as a Pharmacy Stock / Systems Controller
• Desired: pharmacy environment experience and background in developing training material and facilitating

Required skills

• Knowledge of relevant business process policies and procedures
• Computer systems and software packages such as Microsoft Office
• Formatting and styling of learning support material
