Third Party Funds and Treasury Coordinator

About the role

The Third Party Funds and Treasury Coordinator will support a South African developmental finance organisation in managing third‑party funding partnerships and treasury operations. Reporting to the Third‑Party Funds Manager and Head of Treasury, the role ensures coordination of funding obligations, cash‑flow monitoring and stakeholder engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor contractual obligations, milestones and fund utilisation against approved budgets.
• Prepare funding proposals, partnership documentation and committee packs for approval.
• Provide administrative support to the Head of Treasury, including Treasury Committee meeting coordination and cash‑flow reporting.
• Maintain registers and filing systems for third‑party fund agreements and treasury records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for EXCO and Board committees.
• Coordinate stakeholder engagements with funders, banks, government departments and strategic partners.

Required profile

• National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Banking or related field.
• 3–5 years’ experience in fund administration, treasury operations or corporate finance.
• Experience preparing management reports and executive committee packs.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and PFMA principles (advantageous).
