About the role
Mediclinic is recruiting a Theatre Dispensary Controller for its Wits Donald Gordon Med Centre in Parktown, Johannesburg. This is a permanent, on-site position with one opening, focused on managing stock levels in the theatre. Internal employees on fixed-term contracts should apply through an external candidate profile.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock levels in the theatre
- Ensure the availability of theatre stock
- Ensure availability of theatre charge sheets
- Maintain stock holding processes in the theatre
Required profile
- Essential: Grade 12 (Matric)
- Essential: Stock control experience in a private hospital environment
- Desired: working in a theatre environment
Required skills
- Stock replenishment and stock holding processes and their policies
- Surgical product knowledge and prosthesis / implant products knowledge
- Pharmacy policies and procedures
- AS400 system
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office)
