About the role
We are seeking a temporary Accounts Clerk to provide maternity cover for a well‑established company’s finance team in Germiston. The role involves handling creditors administration and supporting the accounts payable function in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Perform supplier reconciliations and ensure balances are accurate.
- Capture invoices and related finance data using Pastel.
- Process weekly payments through Standard Bank Business Online.
- Assist with general accounts payable and finance administration tasks.
- Maintain accurate records and support timely payment processing.
Required profile
- Previous experience as an Accounts Clerk, Creditors Clerk or in an Accounts Payable role.
- Strong reconciliation experience and attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Pastel accounting software.
- Familiarity with payment processing and banking platforms.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
