Technician Assistant

About the role
The Technician Assistant will join the maintenance team at our Malmesbury facility, supporting day‑to‑day operations of plant equipment. You will assist with repairs, servicing and ensure that production lines run smoothly and efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Support routine and corrective maintenance activities across the plant.
- Assist in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Perform scheduled servicing and inspections to minimise downtime.
- Collaborate with senior technicians to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any issues promptly.
Required profile
- Grade 12 qualification.
- N3 Mechanical/Electrical certification.
- 3–5 years of mechanical or electrical experience in a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment.
Required skills
- Mechanical maintenance.
- Electrical troubleshooting.
