Technical Trainer – Learning & Development

About the role

The Technical Trainer will join Office Beacon’s Global Learning and Development team to deliver vertical‑specific training for the Promotional Products Services line in South Africa. The role focuses on onboarding new hires, ensuring they become certified, floor‑ready professionals capable of supporting clients with high accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct Training Needs Analysis for each new batch to identify knowledge gaps.
• Design and deliver comprehensive onboarding and technical training sessions for the Promotional Products Services vertical.
• Facilitate engaging, learner‑centric sessions using diverse instructional techniques.
• Enforce strict adherence to technical workflows during training to prevent data manipulation risks.
• Monitor trainee performance through simulations, knowledge checks, and attendance tracking.
• Generate detailed training reports highlighting milestones, assessment scores, and floor‑readiness status.
• Collect frontline feedback and propose continuous improvements to training content.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in learning and development or training delivery.
• Relevant certification in learning and development (e.g., CLDP, CLDS, CLDA, Train‑The‑Trainer) is an advantage.
