Technical Advisor (FMCG Manufacturing)

About the role

The Technical Advisor will support a well‑established FMCG manufacturing company, providing technical expertise and sales support to drive product performance and customer satisfaction. This position is based in Cape Town and requires a blend of agricultural knowledge and commercial acumen.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical advice and solutions to clients within the FMCG manufacturing sector.
• Promote and sell products, meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records, administer client data, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Utilise CRM systems to track interactions, manage leads, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align technical recommendations with business objectives.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) with a BSc in Agriculture, B Animal Science, National Diploma in Animal Production, or an equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 3 years’ combined sales and technical experience.
• Valid SACNASP registration.
• Current driver’s licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience working with CRM systems.
