Team Leader

About the role

Hollywoodbets is looking for a dynamic Team Leader to manage its Pinetown branch. You will be responsible for driving business results, ensuring compliance, and leading a team in a fast‑paced betting environment.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve branch targets in line with budgets and regional strategy.
• Update betting boards, memos, card changes, results and scratchings throughout the day.
• Educate guests on products, game rules, odds and payouts.
• Take customer bets where required and manage confirmation limits.
• Oversee cash administration, cash management, and minimise fraud risk.
• Educate team on FICA compliance and ensure daily banking schedules are submitted.
• Manage credit‑card and EFT policies, issue correct floats and perform interim cash checks.
• Reconcile cash at shift end and handle recovery processes and lost‑ticket claims.
• Produce daily newsflashes and manage branch stock control, including weekly stock‑taking.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in retail, gaming or betting.
• Diploma, degree or NQF 4 learnership.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• 1–2 years of leadership experience.
