Team Leader – Festive

About the role

The Festive Team Leader will oversee the Distribution Department at our Olifantsfontein warehouse, ensuring smooth daily operations during peak periods. This role combines staff management, inventory control, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all staff within the Distribution Department.
• Maintain accurate time‑and‑attendance registers.
• Coordinate dispatching and receiving of stock.
• Perform general warehouse and distribution duties as needed.
• Implement 20 Keys, HACCP, risk‑control measures and uphold housekeeping standards.
• Provide relief for the Superintendent and assist with stock counts.
• Train personnel on standard operating procedures within logistics.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification (relevant tertiary education is an advantage).
• Strong management, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Problem‑solving, planning and the capacity to work independently under pressure.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends when required.
• High attention to detail.

Required skills

• Computer literacy (knowledge of LN systems is a plus).
