Teacher Coach (Limpopo)

About the role

The Teacher Coach supports novice teachers in Limpopo as they develop into confident, effective educators. Working closely with participants, the Coach provides one‑on‑one guidance, psycho‑social support and pedagogical advice, both online and in classroom settings. The Coach also monitors progress and helps participants set professional goals.

Key responsibilities

• Build trusting coaching relationships with programme participants.
• Observe classroom practice and deliver constructive feedback aligned with DBE NTIP and SACE standards.
• Facilitate online and face‑to‑face programme activities and workshops.
• Contribute to programme planning, stakeholder engagement and data‑driven reporting.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to continuously improve programme delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of coaching sessions and outcomes.

Required profile

• Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor teachers.
• Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Adaptability to work in both virtual and physical environments.
• Commitment to the professional development of educators.
• Excellent communication and reflective practice abilities.
