Tax Manager – Affordable Housing

About the role
EisnerAmper is seeking a Tax Manager to join its Affordable Housing Tax practice. The role involves leading tax engagements for clients such as real‑estate private‑equity funds, REITs, and family‑office owned properties, delivering high‑quality tax services in a fast‑growing environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client engagements from planning through execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to firm standards.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients and firm leadership.
- Accurately track time and billing for self and team members.
- Stay current on tax law, regulatory, and accounting changes and apply them to client work.
- Collaborate with other tax professionals to share knowledge and improve service delivery.
- Mentor and coach junior staff, holding the team accountable for developmental goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of recent tax experience, preferably in real‑estate or affordable‑housing contexts.
- Proven ability to run full‑cycle tax projects and manage client relationships.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
- Experience with tax compliance and planning for real‑estate entities.
