Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will own the end‑to‑end recruitment lifecycle for FinChoice, from workforce planning and sourcing through selection, offer management and onboarding. Working closely with department heads, you will design hiring strategies that align with the company’s growth objectives and inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to forecast needs, develop recruitment plans and provide market intelligence.
• Manage the full recruitment process: job briefing, advertising, sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference checks and offer negotiation.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking and headhunting for hard‑to‑fill roles.
• Maintain recruitment metrics, vacancy tracker and ensure compliance with EE, POPIA and other labour legislation.
• Support employer branding initiatives and build talent pipelines for critical positions.

Required profile

• Grade 12 and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of talent acquisition experience, including at least 2 years in contact‑centre recruitment.
• Proven track record recruiting across operations, finance, sales, marketing, product, technology and data functions.
• Experience in FinTech, financial services or digital technology sectors is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms (e.g., Simplify HR).
• Strong knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems and MS Office.
• Experience in role profiling, competency‑based interviewing and assessment tools.
