About the role
The Systems Architect will lead the technical design of Herotel's OSS/BSS platform, turning functional concepts into detailed technical documentation. Reporting to the Head of Digital Innovation, the role combines remote work with occasional travel to Stellenbosch for collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Design and review detailed application and software components across multiple technology stacks.
- Ensure architectural solutions satisfy both technical and functional requirements.
- Evaluate and improve existing system architecture, participating in engineering reviews.
- Scope change requests, estimate effort, and define infrastructure needs based on system loads.
- Produce technical specifications, diagrams, process flows, ERDs, and development tickets for implementation and testing.
Required profile
- Reports to the Head of Digital Innovation.
- Works remotely with periodic travel to Stellenbosch.
