Systems Administrator – Hospitality & Revenue Systems

About the role

ZDS Recruit is looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to join its fast‑growing hospitality and property business in Cape Town. The role sits within the Revenue Team and is responsible for keeping reservation, rate and availability systems accurate, synchronised and fully operational.

Key responsibilities

• Perform regular clean‑ups and updates of Protel profiles and system data.
• Maintain SiteMinder configurations and ensure seamless integration with other platforms.
• Update website rates, conduct data audits and manage promotional pricing.
• Support Reservations, Finance and Sales teams with Protel‑related queries.
• Monitor and synchronise availability across all channels, both manually and automatically.
• Run IDS checks, restart services and apply system updates as needed.
• Provide first‑level support for system and email issues, escalating complex problems to internal teams or external suppliers.

Required profile

• Highly organised and detail‑driven with strong analytical abilities.
• Comfortable investigating system errors, updating rates, and communicating with OTAs.
• Proactive ownership of issues to prevent operational or commercial impact.
