System Engineer – Industrial Systems (Oil & Gas)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated System Engineer to support, implement, and maintain industrial systems in the Oil & Gas and fuel storage & distribution sector. The role is open to candidates with 2–5 years of experience as well as fresh graduates who meet the technical requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat Linux based systems.
• Manage Oracle and SQL Server databases, write SQL scripts and stored procedures.
• Perform software testing, validation, and support system commissioning activities.
• Participate in system roll‑outs, upgrades, and migrations from legacy platforms.
• Support FAT, SAT, and deliver end‑user training.
• Work with Terminal Automation Systems (TAS) and Terminal Management Systems (TMS) and interface with field devices such as Accuload III/IV, Multiload, and Microload controllers.
• Support truck and rail loading/off‑loading skids and related automation.
• Develop and analyse operational data for reporting and analytics.
• Design and maintain reports using SAP Crystal Reports, Jasper, etc.
• Ensure system integration via Modbus TCP, Modbus Serial, and RESTful APIs.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience as a System Engineer or in a similar role (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong knowledge of Red Hat Linux OS.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle and SQL Server databases.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting and stored‑procedure development.
• Understanding of industrial communication protocols and Oil & Gas storage/distribution processes.
